So, to start off, we would like to put it out there that we can be a little inappropriate crass, at times, as you can probably tell by our title and our username. But if it’s one thing we are downright serious about, it’s reading. We love books; books are our crack, our form of intoxication, our foreplay, and our ticket to faraway lands we wouldn’t have ever otherwise dreamed about. We are lovers of all writing, in its many different forms (though we are strong advocates of preserving the written word on wonderful, wonderful paper—however environmentally unsound that may be). The purpose of this blog is to hopefully give readers/followers reviews on books we’ve read, and hopefully generate some interest in some pieces of work we find exceptional… or mind numbingly brutal. We hope that this blog will be a conduit for people to broaden their reading horizons and discover books that they may not have normally stumbled upon. And of course this works both ways: as we gain followers, we encourage suggestions you have on books that WE should read and review on. In fact, this is the basis of our whole site, as we love to get suggestions and read new things. So, got a book you love? Tell us about it! Got a book that put you through an experience so horrid that your only gratification would be achieved by making others suffer the same cruel fate?
